Synopsis of The Chosen
Set in first-century Galilee, the series follows Jesus of Nazareth as he begins to gather his first group of disciples. He invites people from very different backgrounds to learn with him: a former woman possessed by demons, a mason, a member of a choir, fishermen, a food supplier, a tax collector and others. As he performs his first miracles, including turning water into wine at Cana, Jesus gathers those who choose to follow him. Created, directed and co-written by Dallas Jenkins, the series stars Jonathan Roumie as Jesus, along with Shahar Isaac, Elizabeth Tabish and Paras Patel. It streams on Prime Video and other platforms.
