+12Synopsis of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters
Following the battle between Godzilla and the MUTOs that devastated San Francisco, it is confirmed that the monsters are real. Cate Randa, a San Francisco schoolteacher suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, searches for her missing father, Hiroshi. She is joined by her half brother Kentaro, an artist who joins the journey to find him. Following the clues he left behind, the two discover that their family is linked to Monarch, the secret organization that monitors the Titans. Those clues lead them through the world of monsters and bring them closer to a story that goes back to the 1950s, when scientists Bill Randa and Keiko Miura begin working with Monarch alongside former army officer Lee Shaw. Cate and Kentaro want to know what happened to their father and how far their family's ties to the organization go. The series airs on Apple TV+ and stars Anna Sawai and Kurt and Wyatt Russell.
