Synopsis of Touch
Martin Bohm, a former journalist, is raising his 11-year-old son Jake on his own. Jake, who has been diagnosed with autism, has never spoken a word and spends his days writing sequences of numbers in notebooks and on his tablet. After the boy escapes from his special care centers, social worker Clea Hopkins arrives in New York to assess whether Martin can keep custody. Desperate not to lose him, Martin tries to reach Jake until he finds Professor Arthur Teller, an expert on people with an unusual gift for numerical clairvoyance. Created by Tim Kring for the Fox network, the series is built on the idea that we are all connected by invisible bonds. Kiefer Sutherland plays Martin in this drama that blends science and spirituality.
