Synopsis of Carrie
Carrie White has spent her whole life isolated at home with her mother, Margaret, and the authorities don't know she exists. When her father, Ralph, dies, the family is suddenly exposed to public scrutiny, and Carrie has to enroll at Thomas Ewen Consolidated High School for the first time. There she encounters a ruthless youth community and a bullying scandal that shakes the entire school. Carrie arrives with an almost naive trust in people, eager to learn and to fit in. Meanwhile, her mother tries to shield her from a world she considers dangerous, and mysterious telekinetic powers that the young woman doesn't understand begin to emerge. The series, created by Mike Flanagan and streaming on Amazon Prime Video, stars Summer H. Howell.
