Never underestimate a man with nothing to lose.

Adam Jones has spent three years away from the stove after a cut-short career in Paris. Now he arrives in London with one goal: to regain his reputation and earn a third Michelin star. To do it, he needs a restaurant in the city to give him a chance, which is difficult for a chef with a reputation for temper and personal troubles. Adam knows his reputation closes doors, and he's not willing to accept no for an answer. Trivia about Burnt

In its first weekend in theaters, Burnt finished sixth at the box office with $5 million and was the second consecutive underperforming release for Bradley Cooper, after Aloha.

The scene with Jamie Dornan, cut from the final edit, will be included in the DVD's special features section, as confirmed.

The movie was called Chef during development and changed its title in July 2014 to avoid confusion with Jon Favreau's film, also titled Chef.

The movie had chef Gordon Ramsay as its executive producer, linking him to its production.

Bradley Cooper trained through many services alongside Claire Smythe, executive chef of the London restaurant of Gordon Ramsay, before filming the cooking scenes.

The shoot used a real, working kitchen and featured chefs from Michelin-starred restaurants as extras; Marcus Wareing designed the menus and supervised the culinary techniques.

There were no cooking stunt doubles: the actors received intensive training, and Cooper even prepared dishes during filming, while some scenes were shot over a grill at 120 degrees.

The movie grossed $36.6 million worldwide, against a budget of $20 million, with $13.65 million coming from the United States and Canada.
