Pitch Perfect

Beca is a student who would rather listen to music through her headphones than hold a conversation. She has just arrived at Barden University in North Carolina and discovers that no group will make room for her. However, she is forced to join the Barden Bellas, an all-female a cappella group made up of girls with very different personalities, who have little in common beyond how well they sound together. Beca wants the group to drop its traditional repertoire and pursue fresh, surprising harmonies, an idea not all of the members share. Directed by Jason Moore and written by Kay Cannon, the film stars Anna Kendrick, who plays a reserved young woman forced to fit into an environment that isn't her own.
