X-Men: The Last Stand

The film begins twenty years ago, at the home of Jean Grey's parents. There, Professor Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr approach the young woman with a proposal: they want her to join their school, the Xavier Institute, a center for young people with special gifts. Jean's family listens to what they're offering, and the girl must decide whether to accept an invitation that would take her to an unknown place. This initial visit sets up the film's first dilemma, with two men looking at the young woman from different positions and a girl who doesn't yet know which path to take. The story then moves on to other characters. Brett Ratner directs the film, and Hugh Jackman, Famke Janssen, Halle Berry and Patrick Stewart lead the cast.
