What Season 9 of Friends

Season nine kicks off with a misunderstanding: Rachel ends up engaged to Joey instead of Ross, who was planning to propose to her. Contrary to expectations, Rachel turns out to be wonderful at caring for Emma, her baby, but she struggles to untangle her situation with Joey and with Ross. The others have their own messes too. Phoebe fears losing Mike, Ross jealously mocks the male nanny Rachel chooses, and Chandler plans to sneak into the apartment of a former romantic rival. Everyone tries to make their dreams work in Manhattan, where adult life isn't easy.
