Synopsis of Hellsing Ultimate

The Protestant Order of the Royal Knights, made up of the last descendants of Abraham Van Hellsing, protects the queen and the country's borders against any supernatural threat. Leading it is Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing, who took over as director at just twelve years old, following her father's death. Serving under her are Walter C. Dornez and Alucard, a powerful vampire the family captured a hundred years ago. The series opens with this organization in action, ready to confront any creature that threatens the country.

Trivia about Hellsing Ultimate

Production faced difficulties and passed through three different animation studios; as a result, the ten episodes took six years to be fully released.
The spin-off adaptation Drifters brought together several key figures from Hellsing Ultimate, including screenwriter Yōsuke Kuroda and character designer Ryōji Nakamori.
The short film based on Drifters was included with the tenth and final volume of Hellsing Ultimate, published in 2012.
The American edition featured an Anime Expo 2007 panel with Crispin Freeman, Ralph Lister, Patrick Seitz, Josh Phillips, Jonathan Klein and dubbing director Taliesin Jaffe.
In an interview from 2006, Crispin Freeman explained that he wanted to voice Alucard again, but the decision was up to the producers.
