Synopsis of Love Is in the Air

Eda Yıldız sells flowers in Istanbul and dreams of finishing her architecture studies abroad. Her plan falls apart when Serkan Bolat, a young businessman and one of the city's most eligible bachelors, cancels the scholarship that was funding her education. Bolat offers her a deal: pretend to be his fiancée for two months in exchange for him paying for her studies again. Eda accepts, convinced she hates him. The two clash relentlessly, and their forced relationship becomes the heart of the story. Created by Ayse Uber Kutlu and originally aired on FOX in Turkey, this romantic comedy follows Eda and Serkan, surrounded by friends, partners, and family members with their own agendas.

Trivia about Love Is in the Air

In Spain, the series began on Telecinco with ratings below expectations, then moved to Divinity, where it aired in the afternoon and became a major hit.

The series won the Golden Butterfly Award for Best Comedy Series, one of the awards it has received.

Filming took place in Beykoz, Çeşme, and Istanbul, three Turkish locations used by the production.

Abroad, it is known as You Knock on My Door, and should not be confused with the Turkish series Yer Gok Ask, which has a similar title.

In Italy, it premiered in the summer of 2021 on Canale 5, in a daytime slot, and was a solid hit.

The first season was provisionally ended at episode 39 due to health reasons, after the crew had worked nonstop since May 2020 during the pandemic; FOX Turkey later announced 13 additional episodes.

The final episode was billed as the most-tweeted episode of a series up to that point, surpassing the 7.8 million posts generated by the "The Long Night" episode of Game of Thrones.
