Adaptation.

Charlie Kaufman, a screenwriter from Los Angeles, is going through a creative crisis, the complete opposite of his twin brother Donald. Charlie writes the way he lives: with great difficulty and full of insecurities, while Donald lives the way he writes: carelessly. Susan, meanwhile, writes about life but is incapable of living it. In contrast, the intense and adventurous life of John is worthy of a novel.
