Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) is helped by his children Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins) as they care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him the laughingstock of a struggling circus. Holt's circus family also includes Miss Atlantis (Sharon Rooney), Rongo (DeObia Oparei), Pramesh Singh (Roshan Seth) and his nephew (Ragevan Vasan), the glamorous Catherine (Zenaida Alcalde) and the magnificent Iván (Miguel Muñoz). Max Medici (Danny DeVito), the circus owner, is disappointed by the little elephant's huge ears until he discovers that he can fly, bringing the circus back to prosperity.
