Jack Traven is a fearless Los Angeles cop. Surviving in this city is no easy task for a law enforcement officer, but Jack, in addition to his proverbial good luck, knows exactly how to dodge danger. However, he will face a tough test when he finds himself trapped on a city bus rigged with a bomb set to explode if the vehicle's speed drops below 50 miles per hour. And so begins a wild chase through the city, with Jack trying to reassure the young passenger who has taken over for the driver, who was injured in the ‘hijacking’.
