Synopsis of Mad About You

Paul Buchman and Jamie Stemple are a newly married couple living in New York. He makes documentaries: he's creative but cautious and analytical. She works in public relations, has a freer spirit and a few quirks. They met just five months ago, so now they're trying to agree on the house rules for their Manhattan apartment. Both are quite neurotic, each in their own way, and any everyday detail can turn into a tug-of-war between two people who love each other but are still getting to know each other. The series, created by Paul Reiser and Danny Jacobson, airs on NBC and stars Reiser himself alongside Helen Hunt. The comedy is built on the daily routines and tensions of a couple starting from scratch.

«Never marry anyone more neurotic than yourself.»
