The Hunt for Red October

A nuclear submarine, under the command of a distinguished Soviet general, sails across the Atlantic Ocean toward the United States. The CIA, unsure whether it plans to attack or defect from its country, assigns agent Jack Ryan to contact the sub and learn its true intentions. An entertaining suspense and action thriller. It was the first installment in a saga about the adventures of Jack Ryan, the brilliant American intelligence analyst and agent created by Tom Clancy.
