After tying thousands of balloons to his house, Carl Fredricksen, a retired balloon seller, sets off to chase the childhood dreams of exploring the world. But without Carl knowing, Russell, a 8-year-old Wilderness Explorer, ends up in the wrong place at the wrong time: his front porch. The most unlikely duo befriends fantastic companions such as Dug, a dog with a special collar that lets him talk, and Kevin, a flightless bird who stands twelve feet tall. Stranded in the jungle, Carl realizes that sometimes life's greatest adventures are the ones you least expect.
