Synopsis of Dark Matter
Jason Dessen is a physicist from Chicago who leads a quiet life with his wife and son. One night, a person with their face hidden behind a white mask kidnaps him. After being drugged, Jason wakes up in an alternate version of his existence. His wife and son are no longer by his side, and the people around him don't recognize him. Joel Edgerton stars as this lead in a science fiction series created by Blake Crouch for Apple TV. Jason has one clear goal: to return to the reality he knows. To do so, he will have to navigate a world that isn't his, while his other self threatens to take over his family.
