Synopsis of Twisted Metal

John Doe is a talkative delivery driver who can't remember his past. He lives in a post-apocalyptic version of the United States known as the Divided States of America, after a mysterious event called "the Fall" left cities in ruins and highways controlled by criminals and warlords. His life takes a turn when he gets a job: crossing the desolate country to deliver a package whose contents no one knows. The reward is a chance to start over, but the road is full of raiders driving deadly vehicles. Anthony Mackie leads the cast of this action comedy created by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick and Michael Jonathan Smith, streaming on Peacock and based on the vehicular combat video game franchise.
