Mowgli is a boy raised by a pack of wolves in the jungles of India. As he learns the rules of the jungle, which are not always easy to follow, he is mentored by the bear Baloo and the panther Bagheera. Thanks to them, the animals of the jungle accept him as one of their own, but not everyone shares that view. The tiger Shere Khan distrusts him, and his presence becomes the main threat to the boy. Rohan Chand stars as the title character in this film directed by Andy Serkis, which adapts the stories of Rudyard Kipling in live action.

[softly] Sleep now, Shere Khan. Be angry no more.
[when Mowgli is in a cage] I lived in a king's palace, in a cage just like this. I bit, and I scratched, and I spent my entire life fighting. Until one day, I just stopped, and they gave me their trust. Gain their trust, and they'll let you out.
You've got hands with fingers on the ends, so let's use them.
I think we can all agree, Mowgli, that you are something the jungle has never seen before.
The cub is spoken for, he is one of us! You will treat him as you would your own. As long as I am alive, the pack will stand by the man-cub.
I will taste your blood, man-cub!
