Synopsis of Sherlock
Sherlock updates Arthur Conan Doyle's stories to present-day London. Sherlock Holmes, a detective with prodigious powers of deduction and a distant manner, shares a flat with Dr. John Watson, a former soldier who has just returned from Afghanistan and is looking for a new start in the city. The police are initially suspicious of Holmes, but he offers to solve the brutal crimes shaking London. Watson documents their cases on a blog that catches the attention of the press. Soon, Holmes discovers that someone is following his every move: the mysterious James Moriarty. The series was created by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, airs on BBC One, and stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman.
«A new sleuth for the 21st century.»
