Mr. & Mrs. Smith

John and Jane Smith attend couples therapy. They have been married for five or six years, and their marriage is suffering from a lack of communication and small gestures of silent aggression, like the curtains Jane has hung even though John hates them. In front of the counselor, neither of them can remember the last time they shared a bed. Questions are answered with reluctance and barely concealed resentment. They met in Bogotá, Colombia, where they pretended to be together to avoid questions from Colombian authorities. John is a construction executive and Jane works in tech recruiting. Doug Liman directs, and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie star.
