The Dictator

Admiral Haffaz Aladeen (Baron Cohen) is an anti-Western dictator willing to risk his life to prevent democracy from taking hold in Wadiya, a North African country rich in oil. His most loyal adviser is his uncle Tamir (Ben Kingsley), Chief of the Secret Police, Head of Security and Supplier of Women. Unfortunately for Aladeen and his advisers, the West has begun meddling in Wadiya's affairs, and the United Nations has repeatedly sanctioned the country over the past decade. However, after an assassination attempt that costs one of his advisers his life, Tamir convinces Aladeen to travel to New York to resolve the matter with the United Nations.
