Trick 'r Treat

An anthology film that interweaves four stories on Halloween night. One of the stories centers on a high school principal who turns into a vicious serial killer under the full moon. Another follows a college-aged virgin who is saving herself for the man of her life, whom she believes she has just met. The third is about a woman whose hatred of Halloween is only surpassed by her husband's love for the holiday. Finally, a group of ruthless teenagers play an unforgivably cruel prank. Several American critics have described it as a flesh-and-blood version of The Nightmare Before Christmas.
