Synopsis of KAOS

Kaos is a British dark comedy and mythology series created by Charlie Covell for Netflix. Zeus is the most powerful god on Olympus, but he is also an insecure god. He begins to fear the end of his reign when he notices a wrinkle on his forehead, a sign that could herald the end of the world. Suspicious and increasingly vengeful, he treats those around him with distrust. Jeff Goldblum plays Zeus in this contemporary take on the Greek pantheon. As the god becomes obsessed with his own survival, the story follows a group of mortals tied to an ancient prophecy that could change the fate of the gods and of humanity.

Trivia about KAOS

The gardens of Zeus and Hera's palace were filmed at Villa d'Este in Tivoli, Italy.

The large semicircular square where several outdoor scenes were filmed was Seville's Plaza de España.

Jeff Goldblum sustituyó a Hugh Grant como Zeus el 13 de julio de 2022, porque Grant no pudo continuar por problemas de disponibilidad horaria.

The series' first teaser, featuring Goldblum, was uploaded to YouTube on March 19, 2024.

On Rotten Tomatoes, 74% of the 46 reviews analyzed are positive, with an average rating of 6.6/10.

Netflix canceled "KAOS" after just one season, even though its creator, Charlie Covell, had planned for three seasons and was already preparing the second.

The series racked up 98.9 million hours viewed, equivalent to 14.9 million views, during its first four weeks in Netflix's global Top 10.
