Tom Delaney is a pediatric surgeon and widower, father of two teenage daughters. His wife, Rachel, died a year ago, and grief still weighs heavily on the household. When Jenny, the older daughter, disappears from a residential neighborhood in the UK, Tom decides to search for her with the help of Pete, his best friend and also a doctor. But the neighborhood hides secrets, and every question he asks uncovers something nobody wanted to reveal. The father begins to suspect these truths may be more dangerous than he imagined.
