Trivia about Undone

Undone is Amazon's first original adult animated series and also the first on the platform to use rotoscoping.

The animation combines motion capture with live action and rotoscoping, according to the series' production information.

On Rotten Tomatoes, 98% of the 57 reviews for the first season are positive, with an average rating of 8.3/10.

Production on the second season began in the summer of 2020, but its premiere was delayed until April 29, 2022.

During filming, the actors performed on virtually empty sets, and the backgrounds were drawn later during post-production.

Rosa Salazar appears in nearly every scene of the first season, a requirement added by the production method and the complexity of the role.

The series received nominations at the Annie Awards, the Critics Choice Awards, the Gotham Independent Film Awards and the IGN Awards, plus two wins according to the IMDb record.
