Michael Newman es arquitecto y vive pendiente de su trabajo, a menudo por delante de su mujer, Donna, y de sus hijos, Ben y Samantha. Trivia about Click

Sony Pictures compró el guion original de Steve Koren y Mark O'Keefe el 23 de julio de 2003 por 1,75 millones de dólares, antes de que existiera un proyecto de rodaje cerrado.

Juan José Campanella llegó a ser anunciado como director en mayo de 2004, pero acabó siendo sustituido por Frank Coraci en marzo de 2005.

El rodaje principal empezó el 6 de julio de 2005, coincidiendo con el décimo aniversario del inicio del rodaje de Happy Gilmore, otra película de Adam Sandler.

El equipo de efectos planeó congelar también el entorno, pero comprobó que eso «molestaba» a la vista, así que solo se congelaron los personajes mientras el viento seguía moviendo las hojas.

Para que el avance y el retroceso rápido parecieran de DVD, el equipo añadió efectos de vídeo entrelazado y líneas de exploración.

Click superó los 100 millones de dólares en su tercer fin de semana, con lo que se convirtió en la séptima película de Sandler en alcanzar esa cifra.

El truco de la moneda que Henry Winkler realiza en la película forma parte de sus habilidades reales y suele hacerlo para niños durante apariciones públicas.

Click fue nominada al Óscar al mejor maquillaje en la 79.ª edición de los premios, una de las tres victorias y doce nominaciones que figuran para la película en IMDb.
