Synopsis of Cuéntame un cuento
Cuéntame un cuento is an Antena 3 series that gives a twist to classic fairy tales to show how relevant they remain in the 21st century. Each episode recreates a traditional fable and moves it to our time, with contemporary characters who keep the essence and symbolism of the original story. The approach combines psychological thriller with unexpected twists, while an omniscient narrator recites the passages of each legend and sets the tone, which is sometimes wicked, of each reinterpretation. Iñaki Font, Arturo Valls and Blanca Suárez lead the cast of a production that seeks to explore what remains of the fears and desires of those stories when they happen today.
