Synopsis of Revenge

Emily Thorne is the name Amanda Clarke takes when she returns to The Hamptons, a coastal town of wealthy families. As a girl, her father, David Clarke, was arrested on invented terrorism charges and convicted of treason, and she ended up in a juvenile detention center. Now she moves into the area as a new neighbor with a clear goal: to take revenge on those who destroyed her father and her family. To achieve this, she gets close to the town's high society, where every secret she uncovers opens the way to new lies and dangerous situations that threaten to divide the community. The series, created by Mike Kelley, airs on ABC and stars Emily VanCamp.

Trivia about Revenge

In Spain, after modest ratings, the second season aired on Divinity in prime time.

Marvel Comics published a graphic novel based on Revenge that explored the origins of Emily Thorne, with a release date of September 3, 2014.

Filming took place on Stage 25 at Manhattan Beach Studios.

The music is by iZLER, and in 2013 Intrada Records released an album featuring selections from the first two seasons.

The pilot episode drew 10.02 million viewers and a Nielsen rating of 3.3 among adults 18 to 49 years old, so ABC ordered a full season.

Madeleine Stowe received a 2012 Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Television Drama, and the series was also nominated for Favorite New Drama at the People's Choice Awards.

ABC canceled the series on April 29, 2015, after four seasons and 89 episodes; the series finale aired on May 10.

Following the cancellation, ABC announced on August 4, 2015 that it was studying a spin-off, although the project never became a new series.
