Synopsis of The Suite Life on Deck

Twins Zack and Cody Martin and heiress London Tipton trade the Boston hotel for a luxury cruise ship. After the events of the previous series, Mr. Moseby has taken over as captain of the SS Tipton, a ship owned by London's father. On board, the three attend classes at Seven Seas High School as the ship sails to countries around the world. There they meet Bailey Pickett, a country girl who joins their group. The twins are looking for fun and London wants to keep living as she always has, while Moseby tries to keep order on a ship where almost nothing goes as planned. Created by Danny Kallis, Jim Geoghan, and Pamela Eells, the series airs on Disney Channel and stars Dylan and Cole Sprouse and Brenda Song.

Trivia about The Suite Life on Deck

In December 2008, Disney Channel renewed the series for a second season of thirteen episodes, which was later expanded with more episodes.

The pilot drew 5.7 million viewers on the night of its premiere on Disney Channel in the United States, on September 26, 2008.

The one-hour special "Lost at Sea" became the most-watched episode of the series, with a total of 7.6 million viewers.

As of 2011, The Suite Life held the record for the most episodes with recurring characters on air, with 162 episodes.

The series is filmed in front of a live audience at Hollywood Center Studios in Los Angeles, the same studio as the original series, although it uses a laugh track in some scenes.

The theme song, "Livin' the Suite Life," was written by John Adair and Steve Hampton, the same writers behind The Suite Life of Zack & Cody's theme.

In the first season episode "Maddie on Deck," Lichtenstamp appears, a parody of Liechtenstein.

Dylan Sprouse won the Kids' Choice Award for Favorite TV Actor for playing Zack Martin on the series in 2010.
