Synopsis of Little House on the Prairie
Around 1870, Charles Ingalls, a homebody who struggles to get settled, lives with his wife Caroline and their three daughters, Mary, Laura and Carrie, on a farm in Plum Creek, Minnesota. The family hopes to find a better community and the prosperity they haven't found at their previous home, so they move to Walnut Grove. There, Ingalls tries to build a future in a frontier town where money is scarce and every decision matters. His friendship with Nels Oleson, owner of the town's main general store, is complicated by Nels's wife, Harriet, who doesn't share that friendliness and fuels conflict with her gossip. Debts threaten the Ingalls farm and the neighborly bonds between families. Based on the novels by Laura Ingalls Wilder, the series aired on NBC and stars Michael Landon and Karen Grassle.
«Together, a pioneering family faces a crucial test of its courage and its love!»
