Synopsis of Sex/Life

Billie Connelly is a mother of two who lives in an upscale suburban neighborhood in Connecticut with her husband, Cooper, an investment banker. She was once a PhD student in Psychology at Columbia University and led a much faster, freer life. Now she is going through a midlife crisis and longs for the pace she had with her ex-boyfriend Brad, a music producer and founder of his own record label. When Brad reappears and tries to win her back, the memory of that wild young woman collides head-on with the life she has built. Created by Stacy Rukeyser for Netflix, the series brings together Sarah Shahi, Mike Vogel and Adam Demos in this dramedy that moves between the present and the past of its lead character.
