Synopsis of Castlevania: Nocturne
The series is set in 1792, during the French Revolution, and takes place mostly in the French town of Machecoul. Richter Belmont, a young vampire hunter, leads the story alongside his adoptive sister, Maria Renard. Both want to stop the rise of a vampire Messiah, a near-divine figure who could unleash the apocalypse. To do so, they will have to seek out new allies along the way. Created by Clive Bradley and released on Netflix, the production continues the Castlevania animated series and delves into a turbulent historical period, far removed from the settings fans of the franchise know.
«I pray for you, Richter Belmont.»
