Synopsis of Storm of the Century

Storm of the Century is a horror miniseries written by Stephen King and aired on ABC. It takes place in 1989 on Little Tall Island, an island off the coast of Maine with a long history and a dark past. As residents prepare for a snowstorm that will leave the island cut off from the mainland, town manager Robbie Beals and Mike Anderson, a supermarket manager and part-time police officer, encounter a stranger who introduces himself as André Linoge. Played by Colm Feore, the outsider knows the darkest secrets of every neighbor and repeats the same demand: give him what he wants and he will leave. The residents seek refuge in the town hall, but have no way to protect themselves from the fear the stranger spreads.
