Synopsis of Atypical

Atypical follows Sam Gardner, a teen on the autism spectrum who lives in Connecticut with his parents, Elsa and Doug, and his younger sister, Casey. Sam isn't exactly popular. He has a best friend, Zahid, whom he knows from work, but he often feels rejected, especially by girls. When he decides to look for a girlfriend and asks his family for more independence, his parents and sister are forced to rethink the way they live with him. The series was created by Robia Rashid for Netflix, and Keir Gilchrist stars as the lead character.
