Synopsis of No Ordinary Family

The Powells are an ordinary American family living in the fictional Pacific Bay, California. They have their insecurities, their secrets and the usual problems of any household. Their lives take a turn when the plane they are traveling on crashes in the Amazon jungle in Brazil. After the crash, each one discovers they have acquired a special power, from superhuman strength to the ability to read other people's minds. The series, created by Greg Berlanti and Jon Harmon Feldman, airs on ABC and stars Michael Chiklis. The Powells must adapt to these abilities while trying to regain the normalcy they once had.
