Synopsis of School Spirits

In the fictional town of Split River, Wisconsin, Maddie Nears is trapped in the afterlife, at the town's high school, where she lives alongside other teenage spirits. She doesn't remember what happened to her and can't leave the school grounds. Her only connection to the living is Simon Elroy, her best friend, who is the only person able to see her and talk to her. As she learns to adjust to school life after death, Maddie launches an investigation to find out what happened with her own disappearance. The series, created by Megan and Nate Trinrud, airs on Paramount+ and stars Peyton List.
