Trivia about The Secret Circle

The cancellation was reportedly due to declining ratings in the second half of the season, as well as the high costs of special effects and location shooting.
Despite being the network's third most-watched show, The CW canceled the series on May 11, 2012, a decision fans considered highly questionable.
Andrew Miller, an executive producer, auctioned off a signed cast poster to support the fan campaign, and the fundraiser raised more than $7,000.
The campaign aimed at ABC Family raised donations to send 325,000 plastic gold coins to the network's headquarters, a reference to an object from the series.
Actress Phoebe Tonkin was named to Variety's list of breakout stars to watch, and E! Online called her one of the TV breakouts of 2011.
The series received one nomination at the 2011 Saturn Awards for Best Network Television Series for Young People.
According to the production profile, the pilot episode was shot in Vancouver, British Columbia.
"The Secret Circle" has one win and two nominations on IMDb's awards record.
